Latex Semi-Gloss Base Color: Taupe
BRUSHES AND TOOLS:
1/4 Nap Roller
Note: See APPLICATION INFORMATION SHEET: Decorative Painting Tools
The lighter section has
been dragged one way.
Roll glaze evenly onto the surface.
Cover an area from floor to ceiling no wider than you can reach.
Do not allow to dry.
You can see that the brush has been dragged both ways.
Working from top to bottom, use the Dragging Brush with bristles held parallel to the surface.
Pull the brush through the wet glaze.
- Keep your brush clean to prevent glaze from building up. This may be done by wiping the brush onto paper towels after each pass.
- Work with a partner for easier application. One person will apply glaze while the other person drags with the brush.
- Try dragging in different directions to get different effects.
A good overall technique. Decorate walls, or below chair rails. This is also a good technique for paneled doors and cabinets.
