Queen in Green

GOLDEN Products:

• Fluid Colors: Titanium White, Chromium Oxide Green, Historical Manganese Blue Hue, Historical Sap Green Hue, Green Gold
• Crackle Paste
• Heavy Gel (Gloss)

Other Components:

• ATC Trading Card Panel
• Angel Queen stamp

Step 1: Apply a basecoat of Titanium White mixed with Chromium Oxide Green. Let dry.

Step 2: Apply a relatively thin layer of Crackle Paste over the entire surface. Let dry at least 24 hours.

Step 3: Paint Heavy Gel (Gloss) onto the Angel Queen stamp* and stamp onto the Crackle Paste. Let dry to create a resist.

Step 4: Dampen the Crackle Paste with clean water, and then wash Manganese Blue Hue over the surface.  The Queen shape should remain lighter where the dry gloss gel resists the wash and other areas should absorb the blue wash.

Step 5: Paint Sap Green Hue onto the Queen Stamp and stamp slightly askew of the other image.

Step 6: Paint a stain of Green Gold wash outside both stamped images for a background.

*NOTE: Always clean stamps thoroughly immediately after using with acrylics. If the acrylic is allowed to dry, it could permanently adhere to the stamp.
