Products:

• PROCEED Metallic Medium Pearl
• PROCEED Slow-Drying Fluid Carbon Black
• PROCEED Full Body Glaze

Brushes and Tools:

Painting Instructions:

Step 1: Mix PROCEED Slow-Drying Fluid Carbon Black 1:10 with PROCEED Metallic Medium Pearl.  Set aside a small amount.

Step 2: Apply one coat of PROCEED Metallic Medium tinted silver to surface.

Step 3: Roll on PROCEED Metallic Medium Pearl and while still wet, brush in  PROCEED Slow-Dry Fluid Carbon Black.  The Slow-Dry Fluid will give you plenty of time to manipulate.

Step 4: Create a glaze using the silver mixture with the PROCEED Full Body Glaze at a 1:10 ratio.

Step 5: Brush the silver glaze over 80% of surface in a vertical direction.  Immediately use a water dampened sponge and  “sponge off” some areas to create a “pattern” finish.  Allow to dry.

Important: Golden Artist Colors provides these recipes as points of departure for exploring Golden products in faux finishing applications.

GOLDEN strongly recommends samples be created before attempting to apply these techniques to walls, some techniques will be difficult to remove or to cover at a later date.
