Products:

• PROCEED Smooth Absorbent Texture
• GOLDEN Hunter Green Glaze
• GOLDEN Raw Umber Glaze

Brushes and Tools:

• Cheesecloth or Lace
• Spray bottle with H2O
• Sandpaper
• Palette Knife
• Rag
• Brush

Painting Instructions:

Step 1: Apply PROCEED Smooth Absorbent through a single layer of cheesecloth.  Wait before removing cheesecloth, between 3 to 5 minutes.  Let it set up, depending upon thickness of application.  A thinner coat will leave a more defined pattern.  Remove cheesecloth in smooth motion.  Allow to dry.

Step 2: Dampen the surface with H2O.  Lightly sand once.

Step 3: Apply 100% GOLDEN Hunter Green Glaze.  Let dry slightly.

Step 4: Apply 100% GOLDEN Raw Umber Glaze.  If glaze color is too intense, dilute with GOLDEN Acrylic Glazing Liquid Satin.

Step 5: Wipe excess off with damp rag.

Important: Golden Artist Colors provides these recipes as points of departure for exploring Golden products in faux finishing applications.

GOLDEN strongly recommends samples be created before attempting to apply these techniques to walls, some techniques will be difficult to remove or to cover at a later date.
