Step 3. Mix Absorbent Ground with Coarse Pumice Gel at a ratio of 1:2.

Step 5.  Brush on Copper Glaze over 100% of the surface and allow to dry.

Step 6.  Brush on Raw Umber Glaze over 90% of the surface.  Remove and soften some of the glaze with a cotton rag.  Allow to dry once finished.

Clean Up:  Wash hands and tools in soap and water.  Keep tools wet while working to prevent permanent adhesion of the acrylic materials.

Surface Preparation:

General: A clean, wax free, non-greasy surface is recommended.  High gloss surfaces may need scuffing to improve adhesion.  GOLDEN Glaze is formulated to work best over a satin sheen base coat.  Gels and texture products may be put over any sheen base coat.

Masonry/Stucco: New masonry needs to be fully cured and primed with a suitable masonry primer.

Wood: Raw wood may be painted or stained directly, but be aware that water based materials can cause grain raising.  See “General” instructions above for guidance on previously painted surfaces.

Metal: Painting direct to metal requires a suitable primer for the specific metal type.  See “General” instructions above for guidance on previously painted surfaces.

Glass: Painting direct to glass is possible; primers and GOLDEN GAC 200 aid in adhesion.

Fabric, Canvas, and Paper: Paint direct or use GOLDEN Mediums as a size, to increase launderability or seal the surface.
