Paint Products:

• Light Molding Paste
• Fluid Iridescent Pearl (Fine)

• 1 roller cover – nap or foam
• Painter’s tape
• Spackle knife
• Stencil:  SC-105 Venetian Scroll
  Stencilease.com

Painting Instructions:

Step 1.  Roll Iridescent Pearl over the surface and allow to dry.  (A pearl metallic house paint could also be used.)  Several coats may be necessary to get an even application.
 
Step 2.  Secure stencil to surface. 

Step 3.  Apply Light Molding Paste with spackle knife over stencil, smoothing until satisfied.  Remove stencil immediately.  Allow to dry.

Step 4.  Brush on Iridescent Pearl over the stencil application and allow to dry.

Clean Up:  Wash hands and tools in soap and water.  Keep tools wet while working to prevent permanent adhesion of the acrylic materials.

Surface Preparation:

General: A clean, wax free, non-greasy surface is recommended.  High gloss surfaces may need scuffing to improve adhesion.  GOLDEN Glaze is formulated to work best over a satin sheen base coat.  Gels and texture products may be put over any sheen base coat.

Masonry/Stucco: New masonry needs to be fully cured and primed with a suitable masonry primer.

Wood: Raw wood may be painted or stained directly, but be aware that water based materials can cause grain raising.  See “General” instructions above for guidance on previously painted surfaces.

Metal: Painting direct to metal requires a suitable primer for the specific metal type.  See “General” instructions above for guidance on previously painted surfaces.

Glass: Painting direct to glass is possible; primers and GOLDEN GAC 200 aid in adhesion.

Fabric, Canvas, and Paper: Paint direct or use GOLDEN Mediums as a size, to increase launderability or seal the surface.
