Paint Products:

• Fluid Acrylic Quinacridone/Nickel Azo Gold
• Fluid Acrylic Cobalt Teal
• Molding Paste

Brushes and Tools:

• Palette Knife
• Pointed Object
• Medium-size Paint Brush

Painting Instructions:

Step 1.   Make a wash using Fluid Quinacridone/Nickel Azo Gold and water to desired color.  Practice on paper before washing book pages.  Use this wash to brush over the book pages.  Brush in a vertical direction.  Allow to dry.

Step 2.  Mix Molding Paste and Fluid Cobalt Teal at a 2:1 ratio.  Apply this mixture over the page/pages using a palette knife.  Allow some of the book page to show through across the surface.  Next, using a pointed object draw into the wet molding paste.  Allow to dry.

Important: Golden Artist Colors provides these recipes as points of departure for exploring Golden products in faux finishing applications.

GOLDEN strongly recommends samples be created before attempting to apply these techniques to walls, some techniques will be difficult to remove or to cover at a later date.
