Paint Products:

  • Fluid Acrylic Cobalt Teal
  • Fluid Acrylic Naphthol Red Medium
  • Heavy Gel (Matte)

Brushes and Tools:

  • Foam Roller
  • Steel Comb
  • Palette Knife

Painting Instructions:

Step 1.  Base coat surface with Fluid Acrylic Cobalt Teal, using a foam roller.  Allow to dry.

Step 2.  Mix Heavy Gel (Matte) with Fluid Acrylic Naphthol Red Medium at a 2:1 ratio.  Apply this mixture to the entire surface using a palette knife.  Work from top to bottom.  Using the steel comb, drag into the red gel making different patterns.  (Wipe comb off onto paper towel continuously to avoid excess build up.)  Repeat this down entire surface and allow to dry.

Step 3.  Dry burnish or wet burnish as desired.

GOLDEN strongly recommends samples be created before attempting to apply these techniques to walls, some techniques will be difficult to remove or to cover at a later date.
