Paint Products:

  • Fluid Acrylic Cobalt Teal
  • Fluid Acrylic Permanent Violet Dark
  • Molding Paste

Brushes and Tools:

  • Lace Fabric
  • Palette Knife
  • Sponge Brush/Foam Roller

Painting Instructions:

Step 1.  Basecoat the surface with Fluid Cobalt Teal using a foam roller or
sponge brush.  Allow to dry.

Step 2.  Lay the lace across the surface and tape edges down to secure the lace from moving.  Next, mix Molding Paste and Fluid Permanent Violet Dark at a 2:1 ratio.  Using your palette knife, spread the mixture over the lace at desired thickness (1/4” is good).  Make sure the top of the mixture is smooth.  Pull the tape up from the edges of the lace, then lift the top corners of the lace and slowly pull the lace up.  Be careful not to drop the lace back into the wet Molding Paste.  Allow to dry.
