GOLDEN strongly recommends samples be created before attempting to apply these techniques to walls, some techniques will be difficult to remove or to cover at a later date.

Please contact the technical support team before application if there are concerns or questions at 1-800-959-6543.

Painting Instructions:

Step 1. Roll base color over the entire surface area and allow to dry.

Step 2. Using the Painter’s Tape, tape off vertical sections that will represent wood panels. Roll the Raw Umber glaze in one of these areas from ceiling to floor, do not allow to dry.

Step 3. Place Rocker Grainer at top of glazed surface and drag down with a gentle, rocking motion. Once the finish is acceptable, allow the surface to dry. Continue across all the taped off panels, pulling the tape when one panel has been completed. When these are dry, reapply the tape to the painted panels and fill in the unpainted areas using the same technique.

Step 4. Brush the Burnt Umber glaze over the panels making sure to follow the vertical woodgrain. Allow this surface to dry overnight and roll on the Ultra Matte Topcoat.
Glaze: Faux Woodgrain
