Important: Golden Artist Colors provides these recipes as points of departure for exploring Golden products in faux finishing applications.

GOLDEN strongly recommends samples be created before attempting to apply these techniques to walls, some techniques will be difficult to remove or to cover at a later date.

Step 1. Roll on a thin layer of the Fine Pumice Gel over the primed surface and allow to dry. The Fine Pumice Gel is translucent so the base color will show through and affect the overall color scheme of the finish.

Step 2. Dampen the cellulose sponge and dip a bottom edge/corner into the Ivory Glaze. Wipe the color down across the Fine Pumice Gel layer creating distinct and separate streaks. Depending on the dry time one can either allow this to fully or partially dry and continue onto Step 3.

Step 3. Repeat Step 2 using the Taupe Glaze. The cellulose sponge can be used to soften any edge if it appears to be too strong. Once the finish is satisfactory allow the finish to dry.
