Painting Instructions:

Important: Golden Artist Colors provides these recipes as points of departure for exploring Golden products in faux finishing applications.

GOLDEN strongly recommends samples be created before attempting to apply these techniques to walls, some techniques will be difficult to remove or to cover at a later date.

Please contact the technical support team before application if there are concerns or questions at 1-800-959-6543.

Step 1.
Roll Fluid Iridescent Silver over the entire surface and allow to dry.

Step 2. Using a Basic Brush, randomly apply a mixture of Fluid Iridescent Gold, Acrylic Glazing Liquid, and Asphaltum Glaze. Blend and soften to remove brush marks using the Softening brush. Allow glaze to set-up but do not allow it to dry.

Step 3. Dab the surface with a damp Natural Sea Sponge or spritz the surface with water to open "spots " in the color. Do not allow the surface to dry.

Step 4. Use your Softening Brush to pull the wet glaze creating a dimensional illusion. Gently brush the glaze down, and then pull your brush in one direction. When the surface effect is satisfactory, allow the finish to dry.
