Important: Golden Artist Colors provides these recipes as points of departure for exploring Golden products in faux finishing applications.

GOLDEN strongly recommends samples be created before attempting to apply these techniques to walls, some techniques will be difficult to remove or to cover at a later date.

Step 1. With a large palette knife spread on the Hard Molding Paste in a diagonal direction, skimming back and forth across the surface. A dimensional layered effect should be created and allow the surface to dry.

Step 2. Rub Asphaltum Glaze into surface with a damp rag and allow the surface to dry.

Step 3. Rub Heavy Body Iridescent Pearl (Fine) into surface allowing most of the paint to settle into the crevices and create an overall shimmer across the highpoints. Next, apply the Pearl Mica Flake (Small) with the same technique and allow the surface to dry.
