Important: Golden Artist Colors provides these recipes as points of departure for exploring Golden products in faux finishing applications.

GOLDEN strongly recommends samples be created before attempting to apply these techniques to walls, some techniques will be difficult to remove or to cover at a later date.

Step 1. Roll on base coat and allow to dry.

Step 2. With a damp Natural Sea Sponge, sponge on Asphaltum Glaze over entire surface.

Step 3. Rinse out sponge and repeat with White Glaze.

Step 4. Rinse sponge and repeat with Fluid Interference Oxide Red and allow surface to dry. The Fluid Interference Oxide Red is considered a "feature" color in this technique and should be used in smaller amounts than the two glazes: Asphaltum and White.

Note: Layer and overlap glazes when sponging to create more depth.
