My daughter-in-law made me a beautiful cross-stitch picture. Do you know of a product you sell that would be safe for me to put on this picture to ensure the colors and threads hold up through the years. I believe it is regular polyester or cotton embroidery thread.
My suggestion is to have it framed and put behind glass. If you do wish to attempt to seal and varnish as described above, please have her give you another "test" piece to practice on. You may encounter foam bubbles during application, a warping of the fabric, or the dyes used in the threads may bleed into the gel coating.
