Printing with GOLDEN Acrylics:

This question concerns printing via computer controlled equipment using acrylic media. Is there a source of information on this topic?
There was one person we know of who was trying to use our ready to spray airbrush colors in a conventional ink jet printer. The problem wasn't the pigments being fine enough (CMYK colors at least), but the acrylic resin drying too quickly from the heat generated from the printer or unused and once this starts to happen, the paints begin to clog the lines and nozzles. Most ink jet paints are very water resoluble, like watercolor paints, and they have a high tolerance to clogging. We don't think the printer inks use gum arabic, but probably some sort of cellulose thickener, which has some binding characteristics. You may also wish to consider a computer aided conventional spray apparatus. Such as four airbrushes instead of a computer printer.
