FAQ: GOLDEN Heavy Body Acrylics
GOLDEN HEAVY BODY ACRYLICS
Printer Friendly VersionPrinter Friendly Version
Characteristics of Heavy Body Acrylics:

In the Heavy Body acrylics, is there any difference between the tube colors and the jar colors? I would think the jars would just hold more paint, but I've read and been told jar colors are not suitable for easel painting. Is this true?
All GOLDEN products are made for professional artist use. They contain the highest quality pigments and binders available today. Whether you use our Heavy Body, Matte Acrylics, High Load Acrylics, Fluids Acrylics or other products, be assured they will last the test of time.

Heavy Body Acrylics are available in 2 oz. and 5 oz. tubes, and jars ranging from 4oz., 8oz., 16oz., 32oz and gallons. This is all the same paint. The only difference is the larger quantity means a lower price per ounce.
Sometimes books and periodicals about artist materials refer to a specific brand, or tend to generalize acrylics into one lump sum. There are many products on the market, so if you are using GOLDEN and you need information about them, please contact us and we'll help you in any way we can.
