FAQ: GOLDEN Airbrush Acrylics
GOLDEN AIRBRUSH ACRYLICS
Characteristics of Airbrush Colors:

Can I get any GOLDEN color as an airbrush color?
We can make custom colors in the airbrush formula, but certain pigments would not spray or store well. You can experiment with other colors in the Fluid Acrylic Line, but certain colors will probably not work no matter how much Airbrush Medium or Airbrush Transparent Extender is added because the pigments are large, chunky and dense. Off the top of our heads, Ultramarine Blue, Raw Umber, Violet, Yellow and Red Oxide are not worth wasting the effort to use in a technical pen (or most airbrushes for that matter!).

Though the Airbrush colors are sold for airbrushing, I use them for figure paintings and love the fluidity and rich pigmentation. With such fluidity, I am wondering why you don't recommend them for general painting?
The ready to spray Airbrush Colors are very thin, but are highly pigmented. There are artists who brush-apply them, use them for watercolor washes, and such, but usually they are too thin and have too much Retarder built into them for most artist brush applications.
