Heavy Body Defoamer

Product Description:
GOLDEN Custom Heavy Body Defoamer is a petroleum derived product that aids in decreasing foam production in GOLDEN Heavy Body Acrylics, Gels, and Mediums.

Note: Not for use in paints or mediums thinner than gesso consistency. Thinner products will exhibit excessive surface defects, such as "fish-eyes" or cratering.

Directions for Use:
Additions into Paint.

• Add one drop at a time, until desired defoaming takes place.
• Mix product thoroughly into paint to be defoamed. It is best to add while stirring.
• Do not exceed a level of 2% defoamer based on the amount of paint to be defoamed.
• Excessive amounts or incomplete mixing will result in paint surface defects (crawling, cratering, etc.).
• Check for surface defects after each addition of defoamer.

Clean Up
Cleans with soap and water. Since this is a petroleum based product, soap is essential for removing the defoamer from tools, equipment and mixing vessels.
