Golden Glazed & Acrylic Glazing Liquid
GOLDEN GLAZES & ACRYLIC GLAZING LIQUID
GOLDEN Glazes have been discontinued effective February 13, 2012, but will be
available at retail while remaining supplies last. These are all convenience colors made
by mixing GOLDEN Fluid Acrylic colors with Acrylic Glazing Liquid. Recipes for all glaze
colors are available below for artists wishing to match these colors.

SLOW DRYING FOR BETTER BLENDING AND LONGER WORKING TIME
Acrylic Glazing Liquid can be used to create safe, water-based glazes that produce
oil-like finishes, or as an acrylic paint extender and medium. Both Gloss and Satin
formulas provide enough working time for even the most challenging effects
and finishes.
EASILY ADJUST COLOR & TRANSPARENCY
GOLDEN Acrylic Glazing Liquid is slow drying and intermixable with all acrylic colors. Mix
Fluid Acrylic Colors and Acrylic Glazing Liquid to create clean, rich glazes. For more
transparency, add more Acrylic Glazing Liquid. To increase color intensity add more color, and
for tints or opacity add white.
HOW TO USE THE GOLDEN GLAZE FORMULA GUIDE
The color chart below shows the glaze colors offered. To match the original formula, click on
the appropriate swatch and use the formula presented for the different container sizes of
Acrylic Glazing Liquid. Either Gloss or Satin formulations will work. You may also download a
complete formula guide by clicking here.

Because quantities of Fluid Acrylic colors can be very small in proportion to a container of
Acrylic Glazing Liquid, we recommend using a syringe to measure ml's or fractions thereof.
The syringes found at drug or pet supply stores may offer the most control and accuracy.
(CAUTION: Do NOT use these measuring devices for food or medicine after
measuring paint with them.)

For fractions of a ml too small for measuring devices, drops of Fluid Color may be used.
1/10thml = 1-2 drops.
