Artists' Mediums

Artists' Mediums is Vermont's 'Hardware store' for artists. Vermont is very arts-oriented with a large percentage of creative people. Our customers are usually artists who come to us when they need supplies and answers to questions about their materials. We are firm believers in education for both employees and staff, because we can't help our customers if we don't have the knowledge of the products, and if we don't have the answer, we will try to find it. We often devote the front quarter of our store to demonstrations by local artists, and our walls are dedicated to presentation of artwork by employees and customers.

Many of the items we stock are not available within 50 miles of our store. We try to stock the good, better, and best of each type of product so that there are options for kids and students, intermediate and advanced artists, those with a limited budget, and those who are buying gifts.
