GOLDEN Paintsmaker Don Lester explains part of the manufacturing process to Senator David Valesky.

Senator David J. Valesky (D-Oneida) recently visited Golden Artist Colors and met with company leaders to discuss challenges affecting manufacturers in Upstate New York as well as the many benefits manufacturing provides local communities.

In 2008 the Golden Foundation began its commitment to providing living and workspace opportunities for artists, with the development of an artist in residence space in a hundred year old barn, just a five minute walk from the Golden Artist Colors' facility. The new space will serve as a tremendous resource and will continue the conversations with artists, which has been the hallmark of Golden Artist Colors for over 30 years.
