An Improved Offering for Garnet Gel (Extra Coarse)

Golden Artist Colors, Inc. is pleased to announce an improved offering for Garnet Gel (Extra Coarse). We have identified a new supplier for the raw material that can provide a truer, redder shade of garnet.

The image below shows the previously available product on the right and the new Garnet Gel (Extra Coarse) product on the left. While the color representation is difficult to truly appreciate in this image, the color is not only redder, but the stone is also slightly smaller and more uniform.

Please note that there is a distinguishable difference between the look of the old and new and unfortunately, due to the supplier shift, the old product is no longer available from GOLDEN, but will likely be available in some retail stores for the next few months. It is our hope that the new material will meet your needs as well as or better than the old material.

Garnet Gel (Coarse) and Garnet Gel (Fine) are not affected by this change.
