GOLDEN Adds Applications Business Analyst to IS Department

- New Berlin, NY, August 2, 2005

Theresa Kehoe recently joined Golden Artist Colors, Inc., in a newly created position as its Applications Business Analyst. Kehoe is responsible for development, deployment, maintenance and support of new and existing enterprise applications. In November 2004 Golden Artist Colors, Inc. implemented a new enterprise software platform. Kehoe will leverage that investment by providing information and training on system capabilities to users. She will be leading the information technology projects for the Operations Department as well.

Prior to joining GOLDEN, Kehoe gained six years of professional experience as a Director of Information Systems at Chadwick-BaRoss in Westbrook, Maine, which is the largest heavy equipment dealership in New England. While there, she was part of the executive management team and was director of information systems for six locations throughout New England. She also served on the Volvo North America IT/Finance Committee where she assisted in the development of IT best practices for North American Volvo dealerships. The Volvo North America IT/Finance Committee was formed to help develop global IT recommended strategies for its Volvo Dealerships. She also spent six years at Vulcan Electric in Porter, Maine, which manufacturers electrical heating elements and components. During her time there, she was the IS Manager.

“The tremendous wealth of knowledge and professional experience Theresa brings to GOLDEN will further strengthen our existing IS Department,” said Information Systems Manager, Carol Diters. “We are thrilled to have Theresa join us and are very eager to learn from her expertise.”

Kehoe attended SUNY Morrisville, the University of Southern Maine (USM) and Southern Maine Technical College (SMTC), where she studied Applications Software. She plans to resume her studies in spring 2006 in order to complete her Bachelor of Technology degree in Applications Software.

Kehoe participates as an alto singer in a local choral group, Voices of Tabernacle. She is also a Sherburne Library Board Trustee, where she is the acting Secretary.

Kehoe currently resides in Sherburne, N.Y., with her husband Walt Kehoe and two children, Shannon and Seamus. In her free time, she loves to play guitar and write song lyrics.

About Golden Artist Colors, Inc.

Founded in 1980 by the Golden family, Golden Artist Colors, Inc. began producing acrylic paint as a result of conversations with artists who needed new materials to help them explore more innovative ways of working with acrylic. The products that Sam Golden developed as the result of collaborations with these painters became his inspiration and central motif that he carried forward in the creation of GOLDEN.

Now a global brand, GOLDEN acrylics continue to extend the boundaries of painting through quality, innovative products born of a constant dialogue with artists, which drive the company’s innovation. Located in its expanding 60,000-square-foot facility in rural Columbus, N.Y., GOLDEN’s 110 employees are committed to producing materials that encourage exploration of form and concept, while assuring archival integrity. GOLDEN takes pride in the fact that its Custom Lab is the only facility of its kind, dedicated to designing products to the specifications of individual artists. Developing paints to meet exacting criteria is the specialty of GOLDEN’s custom operations. As a natural progression from our initiatives in the fine arts market, GOLDEN Paintworks was recently born. Paintworks is the commercial paint and coatings division of Golden Artist Colors, Inc. It provides commercial and OEM clients with paint making technology, toll manufacturing and integrated solutions. GOLDEN Paintworks can design a full solution to a coatings project based on its expertise designing, manufacturing, marketing and selling high performance paints and coatings. The company also assists customers with complex production, packaging and regulatory issues.
