Golden Artist Colors, Inc. recently announced that it is adding 20 new colors to its existing 5 oz. Heavy Body Acrylic tube product offering. Heavy Body Acrylics, the original line of GOLDEN Artist Acrylics, are known for having an exceptionally smooth, thick consistency. These colors offer excellent permanency and lightfastness and do not contain any fillers, extenders, opacifiers, toners or dyes.

In an effort to provide customers with a more diverse, well-rounded 5 oz. Heavy Body tube offering, GOLDEN took a close look at the existing colors in the product line and concluded that there was an opportunity to expand the 40-color line. The expanded range of colors includes 10 historical hues, offering a heightened opportunity for oil painters and artists using other types of paints to try GOLDEN Acrylics. For artists who prefer working with tubes rather than jars, the 5 oz. tube expansion will provide a wider, more economical selection. The resultant 5 oz. Heavy Body Acrylic tube line expansion will feature the following 20 colors and will be available to ship beginning July 1, 2004.
