Making the Most of Transfers, A Mixed Media Event (th112.html)

This workshop will take you through all the basics of creating quick acrylic transfers on several different surfaces. Explore unique embellishments for images with gels, stains and glazes. Learn how to build up numerous layers of image with transparent printed acrylic skins! (a simple easy inkjet project)
 
Bring black and white images printed with a laser printer. Also bring color images (can be laser or inkjet printed) both on 8” x 11” paper with a good 2 inch border around edges. All GOLDEN products other materials provided.

This workshop uses the new OPEN acrylics for creating simple paintings and monoprints in the same workshop. This process is simple to master with immediate results. (Inexpensive tools and registering techniques will be demonstrated)
 
Artists who love working with multiples will find this a great way to work in an exploratory series. We will explore ways to enhance and rework or remark the images, using glazing and blending techniques. Learn the engaging and amazing qualities these new paints have and to utilize them fully with your existing acrylic paints, All GOLDEN products and other supplies are furnished
