Spend time with an Application Specialist from Golden Artist Colors who will lead you through the 2006/07 Home Decorating Trends issued by the Color Marketing Group, the leader in forecasting color and design trends.  These trends will be interpreted using Golden Artist Colors’ wide range of materials into one-of-a-kind finishes and applications.  Unique surfaces introduced in the class include glass, tile, and metal and the most innovative 2006 GOLDEN products.  Be sure to bring your “how-to” questions for the Q&A session at the end of the class!  Expect to experiment with wet materials and receive ready-to-go prepared sample boards.  Trend overview and technique sheets will be provided as well as tips on how to take these ideas to the wall and furniture applications.

Supplies to bring:  Palette Knife, Putty Knife or Texture Blades, Cotton Rags, China Bristle Brushes, Sea Sponge, Softening Brush, any other favorite brushes and tools.

Class Description:

An Application Specialist from Golden Artist Colors will guide the class through a tour of GOLDEN product lines.  We will focus on color, including: Glazes, Fluid and Heavy Body Acrylics.  A variety of texture products will also be used including Soft Gel, Heavy Gel, Molding Paste, Light Molding Paste, Cracking Paste, Fine Pumice Gel and many more.  Experience the differences in these unique products as you create portfolio-ready samples.  Expect to use wet product as well as receive ready-to-go prepared sample boards.  Learn tips, techniques and how to choose the right product line for the right application!

Level of student: Beginner/Intermediate
