Class #119 - RAISED & DIMENSIONAL STENCILING WITH FAUX FINISHES

Class Length: 3 hours Thursday 9–12

Learn to create 2-D and 3-D stencils in a class taught by a Golden Artist Colors Application Specialist. Enjoy a guided tour of color and texture products from Golden Artist Colors, including Crackle Paste, Pumice Gels, Molding Pastes and many others. Take these ideas to the wall or furniture. Complete SIX 14”x20” samples on prepared polystyrene portfolio-ready boards using water-based acrylics. Supplies to bring: Basic, palette knife, putty knife or texture blades, cotton rag, China bristle brushes, sea sponge, softening brush, any other favorite brushes and tools. Class #207 - HOME DÉCOR TRENDS WITH FINE ART MATERIALS

Unique surfaces introduced include glass, tile and metal, and innovative 2005 Golden Artists Colors products will be debuted. Bring your questions for the Q&A session! Experiment with wet materials and complete SIX 14”x20” polystyrene boards with acrylics and water-based products. Tips on how to take these ideas to the wall as well as furniture. GOLDEN Application Specialist Lori Wilson will guide you through the various uses of such products as Clear Granular Gel, the Molding Paste family, Iridescent and Interference colors in Glaze, Fluid and Heavy Body Acrylic forms. Experiment with wet materials of water-based products and acrylics. Tips on how to take these ideas to the wall as well as furniture. Class 208 is NOT a prerequisite.
