Working Artist Program

The Working Artist Program was designed to provide artists with first hand experience of the variety of GOLDEN acrylic products and their uses. Professional artists with extensive acrylic product training conduct classes and demonstrations for artists and students working in acrylic or other media. Each workshop offers a unique experience for participants, with specific application techniques as well as general explanations of the nature of acrylic emulsions.

Free Lecture Demonstrations
Lecture demonstrations are available for arts organizations, universities and colleges free of charge. These lectures cover acrylics from “A” to ”Z,” including: the acrylic medium, pigments, color mixing, glazing, gels, grounds, varnishing and health and safety. All attendees receive GOLDEN samples and free literature. The lecture is practical, educational, technically informative and inspirational. Participants leave the lecture enthusiastic to explore the extensive potential of acrylic painting.

Hands-on Classes
Hands-on classes introduce participants to several acrylic product lines with in-depth exploration of the effects achievable with each. These classes offer participants a well-rounded, tactile experience working with many different acrylic products. GOLDEN products are provided free, and the Working Artist receives a fee for the instruction. Classes target a range of techniques such as:
